Static Housing is non-instanced player housing that appears in a node when it advances to the village stage (Stage 3) of its development. When a node first becomes a Village, there will be 8 cottages available for purchase for 1500 gold (Alpha-1). As a node advances to later stages, more static houses will become available for purchase. Owning a static house will provide players with unique benefits, the primary one being granted citizenship in the house’s parent node.
Static Housing Benefits
Static Housing is non-instanced player housing that appears in a node when it advances to the village stage (Stage 3) of its development. Players who are able to purchase a static house within a node, will be granted a wide arrow of benefits. (1) Players who own houses will be given citizenship status within the node that their house was located, having citizenship in a node allows players to attempt to become the mayor of a node, be that through combat, wealth, devotion, or an election. (2) Players will be able to store their items in their houses inventory, allowing them to collect resources with the knowledge that they can securely store their resources back home, where they will be safe even if the player dies. (3) Players may choose to allow friends access to their house letting them pool their resources in greater numbers. (4) Players may display prized items within their house. (5) Finally, as a static node develops the value of their house will increase. Older generations of static houses will become more luxurious with each stage of advancement.
