The summoner is never alone. Two hands are good, but in the summoner’s opinion, four hands are always better. With the right tool for every job, there’s no situation they can’t handle.
Summoners have the ability to shift their role so that they can fill any gaps a group makeup may have. They will be able to use many different abilities that channel via their class skill pets (summons) which will allow them to play through what they summon. Some summon types include animals, spirits, zombies or other undead creatures. It should be noted that a summoner’s summons are not the same as combat pets. Summoners will be able to summon DPS, Tank, and Support summons.
Siege summons will also be possible in which eight summoners would be able to summon a gargantuan beast capable of participating in sieging a castle or node. We are still uncertain what direction this will lead as the game develops further.
